Product details

Part B361-3300 is the suction inlet seal for SUN.3 and JILL.3 canister vacuums, the shared Riccar Sunburst and Simplicity Jill platform. It seals the joint between the hose fitting and the bag chamber, so the motor pulls air through the bag rather than drawing it in around that connection.

On a canister that otherwise runs fine, weak pickup often traces back to this seal once it hardens, tears, or goes missing, since incoming air finds the easy route in at the inlet instead of pulling through the floor tool. This rubber piece takes a fresh squeeze each time the hose seats into place, so give it a look whenever you already have the bag compartment open for service.

  • Not included: the hose and the bag holder

Replace this seal along with a fresh bag if suction has fallen off and the bag itself is not full, and look for a flattened or glazed face where the seal meets the hose collar, since that is usually where the leak begins. Ships in 2-5 business days.
