This genuine OEM flat belt drives the brush roll on the Royal RY7400 commercial upright. It transfers motor power to the brush roll so the bristles spin and agitate carpet.

A belt stretches with heat and use, and a loose or broken one lets the brush roll slow or stop, which sharply cuts carpet cleaning. A burning-rubber smell during use is a clear sign the belt is slipping. Fitting a fresh belt restores full brush-roll speed and agitation.

  • Fits: Royal RY7400 commercial upright.

  • Benefit: restores proper brush-roll speed and carpet agitation.
  • Tip: replace every three to six months even if the belt looks intact.
