Part 3301FI1134 replaces the panel on the underside of a Royal RY5300 or RY5400 commercial upright's nozzle, the piece that determines how flush the machine sits against the carpet while it runs.
On a vacuum in daily commercial service this panel takes the knocks the rest of the housing never sees, and it can warp as well as crack. The warp is the quieter failure: nothing looks broken, yet the face no longer sits flat against the housing, air slips in through the resulting gap rather than being drawn through the nozzle opening, and floor pickup fades even though the motor and bag both check out fine. Lay the old panel on a level surface once it is off; if it rocks under light finger pressure, it was leaking in service no matter how sound it appears.
This plate is also cataloged for the Regina HDU600. Keeping the old panel nearby briefly after the swap makes it easy to double-check sizing if anything about the fit looks off. Swapping it is a relatively fast job on these uprights, and with the panel removed, spin the brush roll by hand and check its end caps for wear while the underside is open, since that check takes seconds with this panel out and a machine's worth of disassembly later. Running a fingertip along the seam where the panel meets the housing before you order a replacement can also help confirm a warp early: a step or gap you can feel there, even with no crack yet visible, produces the same air-leak symptom this part is meant to fix.
