The Sanitaire fan scroll (Part #20-7812-02) is a replacement airflow component for Sanitaire Quick Clean and Clear Lexa models. It sits in the nozzle housing area and channels air through the brush roll region to keep suction working properly.

A fan scroll that has cracked or warped disrupts that airflow, and the machine can develop weak pickup or an unusual whistling sound.
