Rebuilding a DUO goes faster with the fixings already sorted, and 0106ER puts ten pan head screws of 3.9 mm gauge and 13 mm length, in A2 stainless, into one pack. Keep the stainless ones separate from the plated hardware on the bench. They are the same length and the same thread, so once the two get mixed there is no telling them apart by feel, and the position that wanted stainless quietly ends up with something else in it. The consequence turns up months later as a rust bloom around one screw head while the others stay clean. Replacing the run in one go while the machine is open avoids that, and it also deals with any screw whose thread has been formed once too often in the same boss.
A2 is the general-purpose austenitic stainless grade, which is what makes it worth a separate part number rather than being treated as an ordinary screw.
