The F 3.9 x 13 to DIN 7981 is listed for the X and G ranges, the 370, the 300 and 350, the C and D series, the ET-C and ET-H power heads and the DISCO, which makes it the screw worth keeping two of in the drawer before anything goes wrong. DIN 7981 gives it a cross-recessed pan head on a self-tapping thread, so it drives straight into a moulded boss and needs nothing behind the joint.
It measures 3.9 mm across the thread and 13 mm under the head, and it does the ordinary work of holding covers, brackets and cable clamps where they belong. When one strips, the panel it held starts to lift at a corner and rattle over hard floors, and the fasteners either side of it then carry a load they were never sized for.
