SEBO Screw F 3.9 x 21 (DIN ...

Product details
Ten of the long 3.9 x 21 mm shell screws, packed as 01020ER for anyone who opens SEBO power heads on a regular basis.
Brush rolls, belts and bearing blocks all live behind these fasteners, so they come out and go back far more often than most hardware on a machine, and thread wear accumulates every time. Renewing them rather than refitting the originals keeps the shell halves properly drawn together, which is what stops a head flexing and chewing through the next belt. A bag of ten is roughly what a full strip and rebuild consumes if every fixing in the housing is replaced at once.
The screws are made to DIN 968: a cross-recessed pan head with a collar beneath it, on a 3.9 mm tapping thread, 21 mm long with a flat F point. The collar puts the clamping load on a wider footprint of plastic, which matters in a housing that vibrates continuously in use. SEBO shows the same part at item 130 on the ET-1/ET-2 and DART diagrams and item 150 on the FELIX diagram. Order the 13 mm version as 01021 and the short 9.5 mm one as 01027 if the whole set of shell fixings is being replaced together.
- Fits: SEBO ET-1 power heads and ET-2 power heads, with or without switch; FELIX Premium and FELIX 2 Premium; DART; AIRBELT D4 Premium, AIRBELT E3 Premium and AIRBELT K3 Premium; C3.1
- Size: 3.9 x 21 mm, DIN 968
- Quantity: 10 screws, part 01020ER
- Single screw: part 01020
- Diagram positions: ET-1/ET-2 item 130, DART item 130, FELIX item 150

Store the bag with the belts and brush spares rather than in a general fastener tin. Power head servicing goes far more quickly when the correct screws are already sorted by length, and the 21 mm, 13 mm and 9.5 mm fixings from the same shell are close enough in appearance to be worth keeping apart.
