SEBO Cable Hook for CE12 SOFTCASE — Gray Black

The load it takes is not trivial. This machine's cord is 75031 at position 15, quoted as 9.25 m of 2 x 17 AWG, and the whole of it gets wound onto the hook at the end of every job. Hooks give way at the base, where a fully wound cord concentrates its leverage, and the break tends to be clean and sudden rather than a slow loosening. What follows is worse than the hook itself: a cord left trailing in a van or a cupboard gets trodden on, rolled over, and eventually damaged back at the 8177ER connector end. It earns its place on the shelf of anyone running these machines commercially, because the loss is total the moment it goes — there is nowhere to put nine metres of cord and no graceful way to work around the gap.

One distinction catches people out on this part. The hook and its fixings are two separate lines. 75026GS is the hook itself; position 8, part 75158ER, is the mounting set that holds it on. If the hook tore out and took its fasteners with it, order both numbers. If it snapped clean and the fixings are still sound in the housing, the hook on its own is enough.
