SEBO On/Off Switch for FELI...

Product details
A FELIX that stays silent when the button is pressed, or one that dies halfway down a hallway and comes back when the switch is knocked, is far more often a worn switch than a failed motor. Part 7038GW is the factory power switch used on the FELIX upright range, supplied for the ice blue and white variants.
The reason it wears is straightforward. Those contacts carry the full motor load every time the machine is started, and each start draws a surge well above the running current. After a few thousand cycles the contact faces pit and carbonise, resistance climbs, and the switch stops making a clean connection even though the button still feels normal. Renewing it is a much smaller job than chasing a control board or pulling a motor, and the original component drops straight into the existing opening without modifying the housing.
- Part number: 7038GW
- Type: mains power switch for the FELIX upright
- Variants covered: ice blue and white FELIX machines
- Points to it: a machine completely dead at the button, power flickering in and out, a switch that no longer clicks or that has to be held to keep the motor running
- Supply: genuine SEBO component, sold individually
Other FELIX colours carry their own switch part numbers, so match the finish on your machine before ordering. Pull the plug from the wall first and photograph the terminal order before the old switch is lifted out, so every lead goes back exactly where it came from; if the wiring is at all unclear, hand the job to a service technician.
