SEBO Rear Base Plate for SOFTCASE CE12 (Gray Black)

Underside wear is what brings people to 75134GS. It is the rear base plate of the SOFTCASE CE12 power head, the gray black moulding that closes off the housing at the back and spends its whole life sliding across the surface being cleaned.

Abrasion finishes these plates rather than impact. Grit dragged in from a hallway or a doorway grinds the plastic thinner season after season until an edge goes through, and a plate that has worn or cracked lets the head sit unevenly, catch on carpet as it is pulled back, or scuff a hard floor it used to glide over. Fitting a fresh plate puts a flat, unworn face back under the head and, with it, an even brush contact across the width of the nozzle.

It is worth changing at the same time as other floor-facing parts, because they wear together. The 259 mm sealing strip is position 153 on the CE12 sheet and the air channel cover position 154, both of them in the same area of the base and both routinely worn on a machine old enough to need a plate.

Gray black keeps the underside looking of a piece with the rest of the machine, though on a plate that spends its life against the floor the finish matters less than the flatness. Check the new plate sits without rocking once the fixings are pulled down evenly.
