Product details
Two things travel up an electric wand, air and current, and that is why this one is matched to a single nozzle rather than sold as a universal tube. Part 6270GS is the telescopic electric wand built around the ET-C power nozzle as fitted to the SEBO C3.1 canister, with the contact set and the coupling cut for that exact pairing.
In use it extends and locks at whatever length suits your height, then seats into the hose handle at the top and the nozzle at the bottom, keeping the brush roll supplied while the wand is worked back and forth. A brush roll that stops and starts as the wand is flexed, or a nozzle that stays dead while the canister motor runs perfectly, usually means the wand's contacts or its internal conductors have given up rather than the nozzle itself. That is worth checking before a power head is condemned. This one is a special-order item.
- Part number: 6270GS
- Matched to: the ET-C nozzle fitted on a SEBO C3.1 canister
- Carries: suction and electrical supply through to the nozzle
- Length: telescopic, with a positive lock at the chosen extension
- Different nozzle, different wand: a C3.1 running the ETH or the ET-1 takes wand 60237PI instead
Contacts are the other thing to keep an eye on. The coupling at each end carries current as well as air, and a smear of dirt or a trace of corrosion at those faces behaves exactly like a broken conductor, producing a nozzle that runs intermittently rather than one that fails cleanly. Keep them dry and free of dust, and avoid extending or collapsing the wand while the machine is running, since the internal conductors run the length of the tube and flex every time it moves.
Identify the nozzle on your machine first, since the wands are not interchangeable between them and the contacts will not mate. Searches for a SEBO electric wand, a C3.1 powered wand replacement or an ET-C telescopic tube all land on part 6270GS.
