SEBO Brush Roll Sensor Asse...

Product details
SEBO's automatic control on the AUTOMATIC X8 leans on a small sensor at the brush roll to know whether the roller is actually turning. When that reading drifts, the machine can raise a fault or cut the drive even though the roller and belt are in good order. Part 52198 replaces the whole assembly, pulley and fixing screws included.
SEBO records it at position 134 in the combined AUTOMATIC X7/X8 parts diagram, catalogued specifically as the complete X8 sensor. More than one assembly is listed at that position across the sheet, so the part number is what settles it rather than the drawing. Fitting the complete unit instead of a bare sensor keeps the pulley matched to the new sensor, which is what keeps the reading honest.
The reason it can sense anything is its place in the belt run. Belt 5463 arrives from the motor pulley and drives the sensor; belt 5110 leaves the sensor and drives the bearing block carrying the brush roll. A stalled roller, a stretched belt or a pulley worn smooth all change the relationship between those two, and the sensor is the part reporting it. That also means a fault here is worth diagnosing alongside the belts and the left-hand bearing block 52121 rather than in isolation.
