Shampoo Hose Elbow - Kirby Avalir

The shampoo hose elbow, part 308114, is the angled fitting that turns the solution hose where it meets the attachment on Kirby's shampoo system. On the Avalir it is a small moulding doing a job that stops the whole system when it fails.

Elbows crack at the shoulder where the hose flexes against them, and the split is often too fine to see. What you notice instead is solution weeping at the joint, a hose that keeps pulling off under pressure, or a feed gone weak because air is being drawn in at the break rather than solution being drawn through.

It fits the Kirby Avalir along with the Generation 3, G4, G5, G6 and G7 shampoo systems and the later G-series machines. Push the hose fully home when refitting so the joint seals properly.
