This 90-degree extra short elbow is specifically designed for 2x3 wall applications when running directly into central vacuum inlet valves. The 2-inch outside diameter fitting is used only when attaching your inlet valve to the pipe.
For any other 90-degree fittings in your system, use the standard long-sweep elbows for best airflow. This short version is only recommended at the valve connection point.
