This is the shoulder harness for the Eureka SC412A backpack, part B3525800. It is the harness itself rather than one of the individual left or right straps, so it is the part to order when the whole assembly has had its day.
A harness holds the machine steady against your back while you move through a building, and how the vacuum feels comes down almost entirely to it. Once the webbing has stretched and the padding has gone flat, operators start compensating with their posture, and that is what wears people out over a long shift far more than the weight of the machine.
Replacing the harness resets the fit. The vacuum sits where it should, the load spreads across both shoulders, and the wand becomes easier to work with because you are no longer fighting the pack at the same time.
