A carry strap is the only thing between a Buster B and the floor when you take it up a flight of stairs, and this black shoulder strap, Oreck part 430001162, replaces the one that came with the machine.

Straps fray where the webbing runs through the buckle, stretch until the canister hangs low and swings against your leg, and eventually lose enough buckle tension to slip under load. None of that is repairable, and a strap costs a fraction of the machine it stops you dropping.

It fits the Oreck Buster B canisters in the BB850, BB870, BB880 and BB900 families, including the BB880-AD and the BB280, and the AD and AW variants of those models. Check the clips on your canister as you fit it, because a worn clip will chew through new webbing quickly.
