    The two Scout machines overlap heavily on parts. Their air inlet grid (B481-0002), bag bracket (C481-0008), cord rewind (B481-0004) and lower housing (C481-0009) are all listed for Scout and Scoutplus together. The hose connection is one of the places where they diverge, so match the number to the badge on your machine instead of assuming a Scout part will drop in. A connector that no longer clamps down is worth replacing early, since the air it lets in never reaches your floor.
