The slide knob from the Sharp EC-T5965 Pure Power, part JKNB-A079VBFA. It is the small molded control that rides in a track on the machine and moves one of its settings from one position to the next.

Knobs break where they are thinnest, at the tab that engages the mechanism underneath. Once that snaps you are left with a knob sliding freely without changing anything, or one that has come off entirely and a slot you cannot get a finger into. Either way the setting is stuck wherever it was last left, which is usually the wrong one for whatever you want to clean.

It is a direct fit on the EC-T5965 with nothing to transfer over. Compare the shape against your original before ordering, since knob shapes differ between models, and check that the new one runs the full length of the track once it is seated.
