This replacement brush roll agitates carpet fibers to loosen embedded dirt and debris for more thorough cleaning. It is designed to fit the Kirby 3455. Over time, bristles wear down and become less effective, leaving your carpets looking dull despite regular vacuuming.
Inspect your brush roll regularly for signs of wear such as flattened or missing bristles, tangled hair, or uneven rotation. Most brush rolls should be replaced every 12 to 24 months depending on usage. Remove tangled hair and thread between replacements to extend the life of your brush roll.
