Product details

Beneath the power control of an AIRBELT canister sits a spring small enough to vanish into carpet pile, and it is the reason the control has any feel at all. SEBO lists 8057 against the power button on the AIRBELT D drawing, item 18, fitted to the AIRBELT D1 Turbo and the D4 Premium.

The control group on that sheet spans three numbers - display at 17, this spring at 18, knob at 19 - so the part works directly between the panel and whatever the thumb turns. Springs fail without drama. Tension bleeds off across years of use until the control feels loose and undefined, stops returning once pressed, or sits at an angle that makes the setting awkward to read. None of that shows without lifting the knob, which is why a tired spring so often gets written up as a dead switch or a failed board, and the machine ends up stripped a great deal further than the fault warranted.

  • Order code: 8057
  • Machines: AIRBELT D1 Turbo, AIRBELT D4 Premium
  • Drawing reference: AIRBELT D sheet, item 18, captioned as the power button spring
  • Directly above it: the gray black knob 8037GS on the AIRBELT D4 Premium
  • Related number: 8202GS, the knob drawn at item 19
  • Change it when: the control stops springing back, or feels soft under the thumb

Take the plug out before the knob comes off, and work over a tray - a spring this size that escapes is rarely seen again. Where the knob itself has cracked or lost its splines, change the two together rather than putting new steel under old plastic. Shoppers find this as a SEBO power knob spring, an AIRBELT D switch spring or a D4 Premium power button spring. Genuine SEBO spring from an authorized dealership. Expect dispatch within 2-5 business days.
