Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Product details

Part 504S carries a metal central vacuum line through 45 degrees. MD builds the whole steel fitting range to one published specification, and this ell shares it: carbon steel that is galvanized and zinc plated, at 18 gauge, made and fabricated to ASTM standards, and supplied one at a time.

Two 45s set back to back are a common stand-in for a single 90 in vacuum work, since the pair spreads the same change of direction over a gentler path for whatever is traveling through. This ell belongs with the other metal pieces, the couplings, wyes, tees and sweep ells, on a run laid entirely in steel.

Steel and PVC vacuum hardware are not built to join to each other directly, so check that the run this goes into is metal before ordering. MD's matching tubing, part 522S, is published as 2-inch outside diameter light wall galvanized stock, 20 gauge, in 8-foot lengths.
