Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Product details

A spigot end is sized to drop into another fitting's socket instead of taking a length of pipe. Part 505S is the 45-degree steel ell built that way, for the spots where two fittings have to sit against one another and there is nowhere to run a stub of pipe between them.

It makes the same gentle turn as the socketed steel 45, part 504S, and shares that range's published specification: carbon steel at 18 gauge under a galvanized zinc plating, made and fabricated to ASTM standards, and sold one at a time. Tight joist bays and crowded fitting clusters are where it earns its place.

A spigot joint carries no gasket and no cement of its own, so seating it fully home in the receiving socket before anything is fastened is worth a deliberate check, particularly once neighboring pipework makes the joint hard to see.
