Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Product details

A tee lets a side branch tap into a run without dividing the main line in two. Part 508S is the steel one, made with a rounded swept junction instead of a flat crossing, so what comes down the branch has a curve to follow as it joins the trunk.

That is the difference between this and a square tee, and on a vacuum line it is a meaningful one. MD publishes the fitting as galvanized zinc-plated carbon steel at 18 gauge, worked to ASTM standards and supplied one at a time, matching the couplings, ells and wyes it sits alongside.

Where a run shifts from metal to plastic partway through, that changeover generally calls for a dedicated adapter rather than fastening the two pipe materials straight to one another.
