The steel 90-degree sweep tee (SKU 508S) is the branch fitting for metal central vacuum systems — it joins a branch line into a main trunk with a swept 90-degree entry that curves the incoming airflow in the direction of the power unit. That sweep geometry matters in vacuum piping: debris entering the trunk keeps its momentum instead of slamming into a hard tee wall, which protects airflow and reduces clog points.
Like the rest of this steel fitting line, it is fabricated to ASTM standards from 18-gauge galvanized, zinc-plated carbon steel and sold individually.
