SEBO Support Lever with Spr...

Product details
Whether the machine stands where you leave it comes down to one small light gray lever. Part 50438HGER supplies that support lever complete with its spring for the 300 Mechanical and the 350 Mechanical, which saves hunting the spring as a separate line and guarantees the two are matched when they go in.
Daily use tells on both halves, and they tend to fail together. The lever cracks where it takes the load of the body coming upright, or the spring loses tension until it can no longer snap the mechanism into its detent. What the owner sees is a machine that creeps forward out of its parked position, or a release that has to be worked twice, or an upright that drops toward the floor the moment it is let go. Because the two parts share the job, replacing only the plastic on a tired spring — or only the spring on a cracked lever — rarely gives back the positive action. Supplied together, they restore a lever that locks the body upright and lets it tilt back without a fight.
The pivot area is worth a wider look while it is apart. The swivel neck on these machines is 50448HG, carried in supports 50440ER on the right and 50439ER on the left, and the pedal side runs to foot pedal 50330OR, catch pedal 50331HG and spring 50332ER. Loose supports and a worn lever often turn up on the same machine.
