Not the cap itself but the piece that retains it: SEBO 3136HG is the light gray switch cap holder for the Duo brush machine, drawn at position 6 in the Duo parts diagram directly beneath the switch cap 3137GS at position 5. It keeps the cap seated square over the switch body so the control stays exactly where a thumb expects to find it.
When the holder breaks, the cap tilts in its aperture, works loose over a few days of use, or drops out of the handle altogether and disappears. The switch underneath then becomes awkward to press with any confidence, and because the cap is no longer sealing the opening, grit begins to reach the mechanism. Cap and holder carry separate part numbers, so it is worth working out which of the two has actually failed before ordering. A cap that will not stay put on an otherwise sound machine points at the holder; a holder that is intact with a cracked or missing cap points at 3137GS. SEBO also lists the rocker switch itself as 05113, and notes that it comes complete with the parts at positions 5 and 6, which is the route to take when the switch action itself has gone as well as the plastics around it.
