SEBO Single-Pole Switch for...

Product details
Part 5114 is the single-pole switch used on SEBO ET-1 and ET-2 power heads: the contact that makes and breaks the supply feeding the powered brush head.
Because the ET heads are switched independently of the machine they are plugged into, this switch is what stands between a working brush roller and a head that does nothing while everything else carries on as normal. That symptom pattern is the giveaway. The vacuum runs, suction is there, and the roller simply refuses to turn, or turns only while the switch is held at a particular point. A tired single-pole switch may also need a second press to catch, or cut the head out mid-pass when the handle flexes. It is operated at every single use, so wear here counts as a maintenance item rather than a sign of something deeper wrong with the head.
Single pole means the switch interrupts one side of the supply feeding the head, which is all that is needed to start and stop the brush motor. It is a small component doing a job that gets done thousands of times over the life of a machine, and SEBO supplies it as a service part precisely because the rest of an ET-1 or ET-2 head normally outlasts it comfortably. Replacing the switch is a far better proposition than writing off a power head that is otherwise mechanically sound.
- Fitment: SEBO ET-1 and ET-2 power heads
- Type: single-pole switch
- Function: controls the supply to the powered brush head
- Replace when: the switch sticks, needs repeated presses, or cuts out under use
- Part number: 5114
Unplug before opening the head, and keep each wire on the terminal it came off. While the head is apart it is worth turning the roller over by hand to confirm it spins freely, so that a seized roller is not mistaken for an electrical fault and a new switch fitted to cure something it was never causing. Genuine SEBO switching hardware, part 5114, packed and away in 2-5 business days.
