Titan Clear Dirt Receptacle...

Product details
Part 8102-01 mounts beneath Titan TCS-8575 and TCS-5525 power units and catches everything the system pulls off the floor before it can reach the motor, a clear canister rather than an opaque one by design.
Seeing through the plastic is the whole reason to buy this version instead of a solid-color one: a glance from across the garage tells you the receptacle needs emptying, without removing anything, which is why owners with a clear canister tend to empty on schedule while an opaque one gets ignored until it overflows. Two things eventually go wrong with it. Fine grit passing through year after year clouds the plastic until the fill line is no longer readable even though the canister still functions; or the rim develops a crack, the more serious failure, since that rim carries the seal that keeps the whole airway closed, and a cracked seal bleeds air nonstop and drags suction down throughout every inlet the system feeds.
The same receptacle fits the TCS-8575 as well as the TCS-5525. With the old one off the unit, inspect the sealing surface at the rim, and if your unit uses a separate gasket there, replace it once it has gone stiff, since a hardened seal will undercut even a brand-new receptacle.
Empty it on a regular schedule rather than letting it fill completely, since a canister packed to the limit puts more stress on the rim seal each time it is pulled off and reseated. Staying ahead of a full canister also means a developing crack tends to show up as a simple visual check rather than as a sudden, unexplained drop in suction.
