The Titan handle release pedal (Part #DS31) is a genuine replacement for the Titan T5 power nozzle. Stepping on it unlocks the wand so you can recline the handle and steer the nozzle under furniture.
This pedal is worked constantly and its pivot or return spring eventually cracks or stiffens. When it fails the handle stays locked upright or will not latch, making the nozzle awkward to maneuver and store. Installing the correct release pedal restores smooth handle articulation and a secure upright lock.
