Titan Lid - T750

Product details
The lid on the Titan T750 backpack vacuum is a structural housing piece rather than just a cover. It closes the top of the pack and completes the sealed air path between the motor housing and the latch, so a crack in it behaves the same way a crack in a hose would.
Backpack units get treated harder than an upright ever does. They ride against doorframes, get set down on stairs between rooms, and take the occasional knock loading in and out of a service van, and the lid sits where a good share of those knocks land over a working life on commercial routes. The housing is also part of what the operator hears; a split panel can change the sound of the machine before it changes anything else, with a new flutter or whistle near the seam as air finds the gap. A hairline crack near a mounting boss is not always obvious on inspection, but it announces itself as a machine running at full motor noise while pickup at the wand quietly falls off.
Left unaddressed, a cracked lid tends to get worse rather than stay put, since flexing under the latch's clamping force widens a hairline split with every use until the crack reaches a mounting point and the latch or hinge no longer has anything solid to grip.
This replacement lid is made for the T750 and fits in place of the original. We hold Titan dealer status, which covers this part.
