Part 122683-07 is the two-stage motor built for the Titan TCS5702 central vacuum power unit, rated for 120-volt service and also listed against the Titan TCS-4702.

A central system hides its motor in the basement or a utility closet, so you read a failing one through the inlets rather than by looking at it. Whole-house suction fades, the power unit takes noticeably longer to reach full speed after switch-on, or a new howl replaces the steady hum. Any hot smell near the unit, or a breaker that trips mid-job, means the motor should be pulled rather than nursed along.

This is a two-stage design, matched to the continuous-duty demands of a central system. Central vacuum motors of this size are matched to the power unit's canister volume and filtration stage, so confirm the replacement is rated for the same stage count and voltage as the motor coming out rather than assuming any Titan two-stage motor will do.

Confirm the replacement motor's voltage and stage count against the one coming out, and leave the wiring at the power unit to a qualified installer rather than working it out from memory.
