Titan Motor Unit - 12"/16" Upright - 7 Amps

This is the 7-amp motor unit used in Titan's 12-inch and 16-inch uprights, part 17-8510-09. Our fitment data also lists it for the Bissell BG102DC.

A vacuum motor rarely fails without warning. The usual sequence is a change in pitch, a whine or a grinding note as the bearings wear, followed by the smell of hot windings, then intermittent cut-outs as it heats up, and finally nothing at all. On a commercial machine that has run thousands of hours, that is wear rather than a defect.

Fitting a new motor costs a fraction of replacing the machine, and on uprights of this class it is the expected mid-life repair. Confirm the amperage and the nozzle width of your machine before ordering, since motors across this range are not interchangeable.
