SEBO Top Casing for AIRBELT E3 Premium — Black

SEBO's AIRBELT E diagram puts the top casing at position 22 and lists 8328SWER there as the black one. On an AIRBELT E3 Premium it is the full upper face of the canister — the surface you lift the machine by, and the panel carrying the mounting points for the fittings that sit above the bag chamber.

Three parts on this one sheet are black and easy to mix up in an order. 8328SWER at 22 is the top casing. 8224SWER at 24 is the filter cover. 8249SWER at 4 is the cover over the exhaust air filter. All three are described as covers or casings, all three are black, and only the digits tell them apart. If the piece you are replacing is small and sits over a filter, it is one of the last two rather than this one.

Technicians reach for the top casing after impact: a cracked corner, a snapped screw boss, or deep scuffing built up over years of being dragged from room to room. The broken boss is the one that matters, because the lid stops seating evenly the moment its anchor lets go, and the seam then flexes every time the machine is towed. Fitting a new casing restores those fixings and the line against the base moulding without disturbing the motor or the filtration behind it.

Genuine mouldings are worth insisting on for shell work, because the two halves are dimensioned to close against each other and a panel sitting a millimetre proud shows along the whole seam. If a fixing strips on the way out, the screws are catalogued separately too: 0100 singly, or 0100ER as a ten-pack, for the 2.9 x 9.5 size.
