Product details
Lift the lid on an AIRBELT E1 KOMBI or E2 TURBO to change a bag and the moulding taking the strain is the inner half of that cover, SEBO 8340ER. The AIRBELT E sheet carries it as position 23, on a row written up as the E1 inner top cover piece.
It is the structural half of a two-piece cover. The AIRBELT E sheet draws the visible outer casing separately at position 22 in a choice of finishes (8328SWER black, 8328DBER dark blue, 8328DRER red), while the inner part underneath carries the hinge and latch loads every single time the lid swings. Repetition is what finishes it off: a tab lets go, and from then on the cover either springs open by itself or stands proud along one edge however firmly it is pressed down. Renewing the inner part alone brings back a positive catch and leaves the coloured outer casing, usually undamaged, on the machine.
Two things to get right at the order stage. Position 23 appears twice on this sheet, the second row being 8341ER for a different machine in the range, so match the suffix and not the number printed on the diagram. And if the catch has gone soft rather than snapped, the spring is a separate item at position 6, part 7045ER — note that middle casing 8230ULER is listed as supplied including positions 6 and 7, which are that latch spring and bolt 8053ER.
