    Foam exhaust element for the Tornado CK 14/1 and CK 14/1 Pro commercial upright, stocked here as 90146-TACONY. It seats in the outgoing air path and is the factory-listed alternative to the pleated HEPA cartridge for that same position, which makes it the part to order for accounts that have not specified HEPA-rated filtration.

    Foam behaves differently from pleated media. It loads more slowly, tolerates being tapped out between changes, and surrenders airflow gradually rather than all at once — which is precisely why it gets left in far too long. Pull it on a set interval, hold it up to a light, and retire it once the material stays grey after cleaning.
