Tornado built the CK 3030, SKU 93030, as a wide area vacuum with a 30 in. cleaning width, aimed at carpet floor plans too large for a standard upright to clear efficiently.

The case for a wide area machine over running several standard uprights comes down to labor rather than raw suction. Tornado rates this one at up to 10,000 sq. ft. per hour, ground that would otherwise take multiple operators on narrower uprights, which matters most on a schedule where a space has to be cleaned and cleared inside a fixed overnight window. The tradeoff is maneuverability: a 30 in. machine at 103 lb. is built for open floor, not for working around furniture or into corners, so most sites run one alongside a standard upright rather than in place of one.

Mechanically it is built like equipment rather than like a household vacuum. The body is rotationally molded polyethylene on an adjustable steel tube handle, the 28 in. by 3 in. brush turns at 1,170 RPM across five height positions, drive is a 6-groove Poly-V belt, and a 15 amp resettable breaker protects the machine instead of a fuse that has to be replaced. A 75 ft. cord keeps an operator moving across a large floor without hunting for the next outlet.
