The Pac-Vac 10, part 93014B, is Tornado's backpack vacuum built around a harness developed with Deuter, the specialist in hiking and mountain climbing packs. That partnership is the whole argument for the machine: on a backpack vacuum, whether an operator will still be wearing it happily at hour six decides more about the day's output than any figure on the motor.
The patented Aircomfort harness lets air escape on three sides so it can move between the pack and the wearer's back. Tornado puts the reduction in perspiration at as much as 25 percent against a conventional closed-back design, with the operator's body temperature held down accordingly, and rates the resulting cleaning productivity at more than 7,000 sq ft in an hour.
Tools and hoses are shared across the Pac-Vac and Roam range: the 1.5 in. stretch hose J1005, the rigid hose J1006, the telescopic wand CT170, the plastic carpet tool B352-PF10 and the belt-clip dusting brush CT184.
