This is the Turbocat low voltage connector, designed to mount to the can (canister) of a central vacuum power unit. The connector provides the low-voltage electrical terminal that carries the control signal from the home's central vacuum wiring to the power unit, switching the motor on and off when a hose or wall inlet activates the system.
A corroded, cracked, or loose connector can cause intermittent operation, a unit that won't start, or a system that runs continuously. Replacing the can-mounted connector restores a clean, reliable low-voltage connection.
