The TurboCat T210 top housing — also called the hood — is the upper black shell of the air-driven turbine powerhead. It snaps down over the lower housing to fully enclose the turbine and brushroll, forming the sealed chamber that turns vacuum airflow into brushroll rotation. A cracked or worn hood lets air escape and exposes internals to debris.
Supplied in black to match the standard TurboCat finish, part #7221-01-X is the correct top housing/hood for the T210 / TP210 turbine nozzle. It pairs with the matching lower housing and latch to restore a tight, complete enclosure so the head delivers full, sealed agitation.
