The Ultimate III kit pairs a 35-foot pigtail hose with the Wessel-Werk EBK340 electric power nozzle built into the kit. Wessel-Werk calls the EBK340 a powerful electronic powerhead for residential and commercial use, and states that its result on hard floor and carpet is independent of the vacuum cleaner airflow, because the brush roll turns on its own motor instead of on the airstream. The EBK340's base carries a dry squeegee to control airflow on hard surfaces and integrated side channels for cleaning along edges, and it rides on four soft rubber wheels with a wrap-around vinyl bumper to protect furniture and walls. A pivot and swivel double neck assembly with a furniture guard, plus a low profile, lets it reach under beds and other low-clearance furniture.
An integrated parking system with an on/off switch holds the nozzle in its rest position, with automatic cut-off there listed by Wessel-Werk as optional, alongside a bright fluorescent lamp and a quick-disconnect electrical connection at the wand. Motor status indicator lights show at a glance that it is running, and built-in circuit protection covers both the motor and belt. The pigtail cord draws power at the wall, so it also runs on installations that have only a plain suction inlet, with no electrified connection needed, and a full set of attachments handles everything above the floor.
