Beam and Eureka once used a two-prong wand design on older central vacuum installations, and part 155465 is the replacement lower wand assembly with the cord already attached. The two prongs at the top end are what carry power down to the power nozzle, which is why a wand of this type has to be matched to the older systems that used it rather than to a later connector style.
It fits four machines: the Beam RugMaster, Beam B1500 Imperial, Beam Imperial Powerbrush fitted with an EZ Change release mechanism, and the Eureka CV205.
Wand cords fail at the point where they flex most. Watch for a brush roll losing power midway through a pass whenever the wand twists, prongs that have gone dark or pitted from arcing, or insulation splitting open right at the strain relief, the last of which is worth acting on before it fails rather than after. The cord ships already attached to this wand, so there is no need to wire a fresh cord onto the wand you already have.
