Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This washable Dyson pre-filter replaces the pre-motor filter in the DC31, DC34, DC35, and DC44 handheld and cordless models, and stands in for part numbers 917066-02, 91706602, 917066-01, and 91706601. It sits before the motor to catch fine dust that clears the first filtration stage.

When this filter packs with debris, airflow drops and the motor runs hot, which shows up as fading suction or shorter run time. A clean pre-filter reopens the airflow path and keeps the motor protected.
