Product details

Plastiflex built part VCPW01 as a white, flush-mount sweep pan for central vacuum systems that use standard inlet piping. Set low into a cabinet base or near the floor along a wall, the pan lets you brush debris straight into the pipe network instead of bending down with a dustpan every time the kitchen floor needs a quick pass.

Open the release panel with a nudge and that spot on the floor connects to the same suction that feeds every wall valve in the house, since the pan ties into the same tubing run rather than running on its own separate line. Kitchens see the heaviest daily use, though a laundry room, mudroom, or workshop floor benefits just as much from a sweep-in point at ankle height, especially in a household that sweeps more often than it hauls out a full vacuum.

Getting the pipe drop to that low, tight spot is the real planning question, not the pan itself: routing behind a kickboard or under a cabinet base is simplest during framing or a full kitchen remodel, while fitting one into a finished room usually means opening a section of wall or cabinet toe space to reach the nearest branch line. Many owners schedule the cut-in alongside other central vacuum work already underway rather than as a standalone project.

Confirm your tubing runs standard inlet piping before ordering, and measure the wall or cabinet opening against the pan's flush-mount frame so the fit is clean on install day.
