These carbon brush seater sticks are a universal fit shop supply used to properly seat new carbon brushes in vacuum motors. Seating brushes ensures full contact with the commutator, reducing sparking and extending brush and motor life.
After installing new carbon brushes, use a seater stick to shape the brush contact surface to match the commutator curve. This results in quieter operation, less sparking, and longer brush life from the start.
