Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This is a Beam central vacuum hose handle kit that brings together the grip cover, the on/off switch, and the wire harness in one part, listed as part 170112.

It fits Beam central vacuum electric hoses that use a Plastiflex-style handle, including Beam Touch-Lite Swivel hoses. Those handles carry the switch that turns the power nozzle on and off as the hose is picked up, and the wiring that carries that signal down to the wall inlet.

Replace the kit when the power nozzle cuts in and out as the hose flexes, when the switch no longer responds at all, or when the outer grip has cracked and no longer holds the wiring securely. Because the grip, switch, and harness come together in one part, one repair addresses all three points that tend to fail together on this style of handle, rather than opening the handle up again a few months later for the next one.
