Returns & Exchanges

Product details

Hose left coiled on a closet floor or slung over a nail picks up kinks and flat spots that shorten how long it stays usable. Part 408W is the wire hanger MD sells for that, published at 5 by 5 by 5 inches and listed as holding a central vacuum hose of up to 50 feet.

MD spells out how to load it. Disconnect both ends, lay the hose down in four or five easy loops, then raise the whole coil and set it in the hanger. Several relaxed loops beat one tight one, which presses a crease into the hose wall that never quite comes out.

Nothing to mount it with comes in the package. MD notes that explicitly against 408W, so have screws or wall anchors suited to the surface on hand before the hose comes up off the floor.
