Part 857 is a micro filtration Style Z paper bag for Hoover upright vacuums, sold nine to a pack. Micro filtration paper is a finer media than a standard Style Z bag, and the Z letter printed on your current bag or bag door is what determines fit here.

Hoover's own Type Z bag listings name these upright cleaners: Dimension, Power Drive, AutoDrive, Dirt Finder, Breathe Easy, Caddy Vac, PowerMax and select TurboPower machines, and note the list is not exhaustive. A micro filtration bag that has taken on its full load restricts airflow before it looks packed, and the upright starts to feel like it is straining for the same pickup. Fitting a fresh bag reopens that airflow right away.
