This is a replacement carbon brush for Ametek Lamb 116-276-01 and 116-227-00 motors, part 33326-1. Carbon brushes are the small blocks that ride against the motor's commutator, spring-loaded to keep constant contact as the armature spins, and they are the one part inside a vacuum motor built to wear down on purpose.
