Part 2036764 is the power supply board from the Bissell 9400 ProHeat 2X steam vacuum, the bridge rectifier that converts incoming AC to the DC side of the machine. The same board is used across the ProHeat 2X Powersteamer range: 8920, 8930, 8960, 9200, 9300 and 9400, plus the 9200-2, 9200-5, 9200-C, 9200-T, 9300-C, 9300-D and 9300-P. Our fitment data also lists the 1383, 20B4, 66Q4, 73A5 and 9500.
Rectifiers fail quietly. The heater or the pump stops responding while the vacuum motor carries on as normal, the machine behaves differently from one press of the trigger to the next, or nothing happens at all. Scorching on the board or a swollen component next to it settles the question quickly.
Unplug the cleaner and let it stand before opening the housing.
