Bissell part 1606641 is the clean water tank assembly, in smoky blue, for the 1565 and its siblings the 1560 and 1564. It is the tank you fill with hot water and formula, and it feeds the pump for the whole cleaning pass.
Tanks fail quietly. A perished seal at the base, or a split that only opens under the weight of a full load, lets solution seep into the body instead of reaching the nozzle. The symptoms read as a pump problem: weak or absent spray, a tank that empties faster than the carpet gets wet, water under the machine after storage.
It is sold as an assembly, so you are not transferring parts across from the old tank. Wipe the seat on the machine before pressing the new one in and check that it sits flat.
