This genuine Bissell dirt tank assembly (Part #163-5990) is the bagless debris container for the Surface Sense upright vacuum. It collects the dust, hair, and grit drawn up during cleaning and holds it until you empty the tank. Supplied as a complete assembly, it includes the housing and the sealing and latching components that mate it to the vacuum body.
This dirt tank fits the Bissell Surface Sense upright vacuum, models 3415 and 3418. If your original tank is cracked, hazed over, or no longer latching and sealing properly, a fresh assembly restores full dust capture and suction.
